Our dedicated team of specialists has dived in the science of horticultural lighting and translated this science to new unprecedented technologies which created The Next Dimension in LED grow lights.

Where other LED grow lights maintain their heat by simple passive cooling with aluminum or apply fans which reduce the potential life time, we have opted for this advanced cooling technology which generates a much longer life time. That is why our top lights come with a life time of 75.000 hours, double from what is the market standard today.
We have looked to the future to develop the grow light for today.
We are all aware that LED grow light technology will keep on maturing and optimizing for at least the next decade.
Light efficiency levels of today are already much higher than just two years ago, but this is not the end of the road yet.
As thus we have developed our LED grow lights in a way that the LED engines can be replaced and upgraded over time.
Whenever in the future the match tells us and you that it is time to shift to the next level of efficiency, we will upgrade you for just a fraction of the cost of replacing a complete installation.
We believe in advanced optical light distribution.
While most grow lights just use a cover over the LEDs or a reflector on them, we work with TIR (Total Internal Reflection) lenses.
Not only the PPFD on your plant canopy improves by this, but this also leads to a much deeper crop penetration.
Certainly in complex and high wire crops the effect shows immediately by a much higher light-to-plant contact surface and as a result improved harvest results.
As a result of all these new technology implementations, the CoolFin®, CoolPack® and CoolStack® are now among the most appreciated LED grow lights in the market.
A complete new approach in LED light for vertical farming and propagation has seen the light with the CoolGrow® VF.
Running a vertical farm with a positive financial outcome is still somewhat a challenge.
Never the less we do believe that the concept of vertical farming will further mature over time and will play an important role in the future of horticulture cultivation.
So when we developed the CoolGrow® VF with our partner Stogger from the Netherlands, we gave ourselves a mission on what we could do today to make vertical farming in the future more efficient and as a result more financially attractive.
The answers were found in the nature of science…
Already many years ago scientist have proven that by diffusing light you can create a much higher light penetration in plants compared to direct light.
That is why many new greenhouses deploy hazed glass now instead of clear glass.
We have implemented this technology in our CoolGrow® VF – by embedding the grow LEDs in a glass plate with hazed glass, the light gets diffused and as a results penetrates much deeper in the canopy.
This core technology leads immediately to augmented harvest yields but also to healthier crops where you don’t see the typical effects of yellow and unhealthy leaves on the lower leafs.

Perfectionists as we are that was still not enough.
An second biological opportunity was found in the reflection of light.
We all know that light reflects on leaves – a bit depending on the color and gloss light reflects between 10% and 20% when it falls on a leaf.
Besides leaf reflection, vertical farming installations with fix plug distances and young crops have many times enormous open space where photons which land will not contribute to plant growth.
By applying a reflective coating over the whole inner surface behind the glass of the CoolGrow® VF, in combination with using white reflective trays, 90% of the energy can be re-reflected towards the crops.
The standing wave reflection or SWR magnitudes the total result to 28% gain at full canopy occupation and up to 70% with young crops.
So what we have created here are free extra micromoles of light which don’t appear on your electricity bill!
We also believe that we have a mission in creating more than just excellent grow lights which outstand in the market.

A substantial step in this direction is already made by our CoolControls® wireless Bluetooth mesh system.
At one side the CoolControls® gives you with complete light controls and insight on your light schemes, what your plants have received in PPFD and DLI.
On the other side the CoolControls® creates a complete digital network in your greenhouse or grow room, which enables us to do more than just light controls.
When you have 800 grow lights in your greenhouse, than we have 800 potential points of information.
In the near future through our digital network we will provide you with complete insights in temperature, humidity, CO2 and all the variables which influence your grow process.
