LED-growlights in polytunnels

They have been using our LED grow lights in their polytunnels to optimize the cultivation of organic mini and microgreens, herbs, edible flowers, and salty vegetables. Due to high customer demand, they decided to grow year-round in 2013. To compensate for the lack of sunlight and warmth during the winter days, they use grow lights, an extra layer of foil, and heaters to keep the temperature above freezing. Initially, they used traditional SON-T grow lights, which were later supplemented by our CoolStack® grow lights. Next to the polytunnels they have an indoor grow facility exclusively lit with our CoolStack®COMPACT.

This way, they can deliver high-end products year-round to top chefs and exclusive restaurants.
