Year-Round Sustainable Cultivation with LED Grow Lights

Robbin and Angela Kenis, along with their son Gijs Kenis, run the Kenis & Kenis Strawberry Farm in the region of Meer and Minderhout, Belgium. Their farm specializes in cultivating strawberries and raspberries. With growing facilities that include both polytunnels and lighted as well as non-lighted greenhouses, they have optimized their production to grow strawberries year-round. This has been made possible with the use of MechaTronix grow lights since 2020.

Thanks to the efficient use of these grow lights, they can continue production throughout the year, even during the winter months, ensuring a constant supply of high-quality strawberries to the Hoogstraten cooperative.
