The importance of light distribution in plant growth and yield

High planting density can result in lower PPFD at the lower leaves, reducing overall plant growth. Supplemental ‘interlighting’ can redress this imbalance and increase year-round productivity. Here presenter Koen Vangorp, CEO of MechaTronix will explain canopy penetration by various wavelengths and the effect of diffuse light, and how this effect can be implemented by introducing LED specialist modules.
