Program

The program starts with the guided tour in the trial fields of Berry Plaza. Various everbearer tests can be viewed at the field. In total there are more than 50 test fields varying from 5 linear meters to 35 linear meters. Various varieties and plant types are trialled. Including the varieties Favori, Murano, Bravura, Cantus, Malling Champion and multiple varieties under code. Plant types varying from light to heavy mini tray, warm and cold overwintered plants and fresh plants.

Fundamental knowledge is also developed in Murano and Favori. The aim is better understanding of the behaviour of the everbearer and to lay the foundation for plant models, Delphy SQMS. Think of dry matter production and distribution, growth time and harvest prediction.

The network area provides the space (with the COVID-19 measures taken into account) to catch up and exhibitors can explain their products and innovations in one-on-one conversations. In total there are twelve exhibitors at the network area.
