Where tomatoes were previously grown under HPS – SON-T lamps with a typical light intensity of 180 µmol for over a decade, today’s most advanced tomato growers are equipped with full LED installations that provide light levels of up to 350 µmol. These systems feature dynamic light spectrums fully controlled by a climate computer and an advanced power management system, ensuring a perfect balance between production yield and energy costs.
