Processing of personal data
MechaTronix acknowledges responsibility for the use of personal data. MechaTronix states that it will respect this responsibility and will, without the customer's permission, not share the personal data with other companies outside the Eight Lakes group.
Retention period
Your shop account will be stored in our system for a definite period. You have the right to have this shop account deleted at all times.
Deletion of personal data
You can contact us and ask us to delete your personal data. To prevent any misuse, we may ask that you adequately identify yourself by submitting your personal data in order to allow us to identify you in our systems, also in case of visual material. After personal data has been destroyed, you should bear in mind that you can no longer make use of our services. Moreover, your rights will lapse as they can no longer be traced back to a person. If you want to inspect personal data linked to a cookie, you must include a copy of the relevant cookie. You can find it in your browser settings.
Inspection of personal data
The customer is entitled to inspect his or her own personal data at reasonable intervals. The customer can also always ask for his or her own personal data to be adjusted should they be incorrect or incomplete.
Data portability
The customer is entitled to rely on receiving the personal data he or she provided to the Eight Lakes group. If these data contain any personal data of other data subjects, these data will be excluded from transfer. It is not possible to add any anonymised data to this.
Right to object
The customer can object to such collection of his or her personal data afterwards as well. In that case, Mechatronix will immediately stop collecting the data and delete them. Without these data, however, it will not be possible to identify the customer on the website. For these reasons, the login account, too, will expire if the personal data are deleted.
